Rachel
Rachel joined our team at Haslet Veterinary Clinic in May 2018. She graduated from the Vet Tech Institute of Houston in 2010 with a degree in Veterinary Technologies, though she has been in the field since 2005. Her knowledge and passion for animal care make her a valuable member of our team. Rachel is passionate about surgery, anesthesia and veterinary nutrition. She is married with a daughter has 3 crazy dogs named Radar, Jewel, and Bandit. She is obsessed with all things ocean, and keeps a saltwater aquarium in her home with an assortment of fish and corals. In her free time, she likes to cook, ride horses, ride motorcycles, fish and do photography.
Joy
Joy joined our team this summer and has been in veterinary medicine for 7 years. She enjoys competitive show jumping, which she has done for the past 19 years, weight lifting, and absolutely LOVES Harry Potter. She is obsessed with beagles and donkeys. (The bigger the ears the better!) She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Animal Sciences and has applied for vet school for Fall of 2025! 
Karina
Karina joined our team at Haslet Veterinary Clinic in 2017. She enjoys going to the gym, listening to music, watching movies, and being with her family. She has many talents including playing many different musical instruments. She keeps us organized and tidy. We would be lost without her. She has a passion for making sure that all animals get the care they deserve.
Hannah
Hannah recently joined our team with 3 years of veterinary medicine experience. She was previously a barber for 6 years, but found her passion with animals. She loves anything and everything beagle, sunflowers and Harry Potter. She has 2 dogs and 1 cat. The dogs love to go on hiking trip with Hannah any chance they get. She is excited to be working towards her goal of becoming a licensed veterinary technician. 
Harrison
Harrison graduated from UNT with a bachelor’s degree in biology, with a minor in chemistry. He has been involved in the veterinary field since 2017. He loves exotics, oncology, and research with reptiles. He is currently applying to vet school with the goal of becoming a veterinary oncologist. In his free time he loves reading and has a love for collecting Star Wars memorabilia and vintage comic books!
Paula
Paula joined our team this summer. She has 30+ years of experience as a veterinary assistant. Her experience is invaluable to this team and we are thrilled to have her. She loves all kinds of animals but cats are her favorite! When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with family, playing video games and watching movies. Paula has several kitties she devotes time to as well! 
Summer
Summer joined our team this spring. She has been married to her husband for 22 years, and they have two wonderful daughters. She is a lover of all animals and can “never have too many”. She has dogs, cats, goats, horses, chickens and ducks. She loves to watch her daughters participate in horseback riding and cheerleading. She has a deep connection to her faith and is very involved with her church. She especially loves Christian music.
Tyler
Tyler joined our team this spring. He is currently in school pursuing his degree in veterinary medicine. He has a passion for canine orthopedic medicine, has been in the field for the past 5 years and always considers and treats your pet as his own. He has been married to his lovely wife for 4 years and has an adorable son. Outside of being an animal lover, he is very family oriented. 
Michelle
Michelle joined our team earlier this year. Her compassion and enthusiasm bring a bright spot to our shining team! She’s a hockey billet mom (hosts exchange students for hockey). Her husband is an Air Force veteran, and they have been married for 33 fabulous years. She has 2 children and 3 grandchildren. She loves anything and everything hockey! 
Madison
Madison joined our team bringing over 10 years of animal experience with her. She has been in the veterinary world for a few of those years and is eager to learn and grow. She has a sweet 12 year old cat named Dinah. When not taking care of animals, she enjoys kayaking, reading, board games and discovering new restaurants. Her personality and positivity brings smiles to all and we are thrilled to have her!
