Our Team

Rachel

Rachel joined our team in May 2018. She graduated from the Vet Tech Institute of Houston in 2010 with a degree in Veterinary Technologies, though she has been in the field since 2005. Her knowledge and passion for animal care make her a valuable member of our team. Rachel is passionate about surgery, anesthesia and veterinary nutrition. She is married with a daughter has 3 crazy dogs named Radar, Jewel, and Bandit. She is obsessed with all things ocean, and keeps a saltwater aquarium in her home with an assortment of fish and corals. In her free time, she likes to cook, ride horses, ride motorcycles, fish and do photography.

Karina

Karina joined our team in 2017. She enjoys going to the gym, listening to music, watching movies, and being with her family. She has many talents including playing many different musical instruments. She keeps us organized and tidy. We would be lost without her. She has a passion for making sure that all animals get the care they deserve.

Aaron

Aaron has 25+ years in the veterinary field. His extensive knowledge of emergency and critical care medicine make him a valuable asset to our team. He graduated tech school in 2002 and worked as an instructor while continuing his career in veterinary medicine. He is Fear Free Certified and loves working with anxious and not so friendly fur babies. He holds a bachelors degree in Science/Horticulture from Ohio State University. He has 6 dogs and 2 cats and loves to help his neighbor with goats, horses and highland cows.

Jessica

Jessica joined our team in 2020 after graduating as a Certified Veterinary Assistant. Jessica is passionate about anything corgi or goat and loves cuddling with all our patients. She has a strong interest in fear free, and canine training. When Jessica isn’t working, she is actively helping out at her family farm where they raise goats. She enjoys helping kids with their FFA and 4H projects, riding horses, playing disc golf, and doing agility with her dog Reese. Along with Reese, she has dogs names Eevee, Captain, Liam. She also has 2 horses and about 120 goats.

Paula

Paula joined our team in 2024. She has 30+ years of experience as a veterinary assistant. Her experience is invaluable to this team and we are thrilled to have her. She loves all kinds of animals but cats are her favorite! When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with family, playing video games and watching movies. Paula has several kitties she devotes time to as well!

Alyx

Alyx joined our team in early 2026. She brings warmth and a compassionate spirit to our team. She is passionate about Jesus, horses and music! When she isn’t working, you will find her serving at her church or riding her horse, Jack. Her faith is a central part of her life, and she believes that kindness, patience and a positive outlook will always see her through.  She also has 5 dogs and 4 cats to love and care for at home.

Kiera

Kiera is the voice you hear on the phone and the friendly face you see up front- basically the clinic’s unofficial emotional support human. She specializes in calming nervous pet parents, handing out treats (to pets… and sometimes herself), and pretending she’s not talking in a baby voice to every animal that walks in. When she’s not scheduling appointments or answering calls, she’s working toward her degree in healthcare administration and building her future- one wagging tail at a time.
